President Yusuf to visit China

Wed, Nov, 01 2006,08:30 am--Mogadishu Somalia Somalia’s president Abdulahi Yusuf flies to China Aweys Osman Mogadishu 01, Nov.06 ( Sh.M.Network) The president of the Somali government Abdulahi Yusuf Ahmed this morning went to China The president is reported to stop in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi on his way to Beijing to participate in a conference being held in China for Africa’s heads of states. His trip comes at a time when the peace talks between the government and Somalia’s Union of Islamic Courts have got stuck in conditions both contesting groups came up with.
